Revive Brushes with Warm Vinegar
Soak brushes with dried-on paint in a jar of warm white vinegar for about 20 minutes before rinsing and washing with soap.
The acetic acid in the vinegar safely dissolves the hardened paint binder, restoring stiff bristles to a soft and usable state.
(Especially effective for brushes used with acrylics, tempera, or other water-based paints.)

Before You Start
Mood boards are important because they visually capture the style, tone, and feeling of a project before you begin, helping you stay consistent and inspired. They act as a creative roadmap, guiding color choices, materials, and overall aesthetic. In short, they turn abstract ideas into a clear visual direction.
Chalkboard Gift Wrap
Materials
-Roll of brown kraft paper
-Black chalkboard paint
-Wide paintbrush
-White chalk marker
-Silver metallic marker
-A small cardboard box to wrap
-Scissors
-Clear tape
-Newspaper to protect your work surface
Step 1
Roll out the brown paper and cut a piece large enough to wrap your box. Place it on your protected work surface.
Step 2
Using the wide paintbrush, apply an even coat of black chalkboard paint to the entire surface of the brown paper.
Step 3
Let the chalkboard paint dry completely. The surface will look matte and will not be shiny or wet to the touch.
Step 4
Once dry, carefully wrap your small cardboard box with the chalkboard paper, securing the folds with clear tape.
Step 5
Use your white chalk marker and metallic marker to write a name or draw festive doodles directly onto the wrapped gift.
Final Product
